Membership Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to The Yoga Nest! We are excited to have you as a part of our community. These terms and conditions govern your membership subscription with The Yoga Nest. By subscribing to our membership, you agree to these terms.

1. Membership Eligibility and Registration

  • Membership is open to individuals 16 years of age and older. Individuals under 16 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian to become a member.
  • Membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • Accurate and complete information must be provided when registering for membership.

2. Membership Fees and Payment

  • Membership fees will be stated clearly at the time of registration.
  • Payment must be made in accordance with the chosen membership plan.
  • Fees are subject to change with prior notice to members.

3. Membership Cancellation

  • Members can cancel their membership with one month’s notice before the renewal date.
  • Passes without a renewal term end as stated upon purchase and begin from the date of the first booking.
  • Annual membership is a 12-month commitment, with payments made in monthly installments (12 per year).

4. Membership Pause

Monthly Memberships

You’re welcome to pause your membership at any time, for any reason. Just let us know before your next billing cycle, and we’ll pause your plan with care and simplicity.

Annual Memberships

For situations outside of holidays — such as injury or unexpected travel — you’re invited to pause your membership for up to 1 month per year.

Depending on your situation, we may extend this to 2 months. Let us know in advance so we can support the process with clarity.

5. Class Booking and Cancellation

  • Members must book classes in advance.
  • Cancellation of class bookings must be made within the specified timeframe to avoid penalties.

6. Conduct, Safety, and Ethics

  • Members must comply with all safety instructions and guidelines provided by The Yoga Nest instructors.
  • Respectful and ethical behavior towards instructors, staff, and fellow members is a core value of The Yoga Nest. This includes, but is not limited to, avoiding disruptive behavior, respecting others’ boundaries, and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
  • The Yoga Nest reserves the right to terminate membership in cases of misconduct or ethical breaches.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Yoga Nest is not liable for any personal injury or loss of property suffered by members at the studio, except as required by law.

8. Privacy Policy

Members’ personal information will be handled in accordance with The Yoga Nest’s Privacy Policy and will be fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian law. This includes the responsible collection, use, storage, and protection of personal data, ensuring the rights and privacy of our members are respected.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

The Yoga Nest reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated to members in advance.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Yoga Nest operates, including adherence to GDPR and Norwegian law.

By continuing with your membership subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
