The Art of the Adjustment 3/3 – YTT Technique and Adjustment July 4th and 5th

Step into the confidence of teaching yoga in Stavanger

Touch that teaches. Presence that transforms.

This is the 3rd in a series of 3 weekend adjustment courses, it is however not required to have participated on the 1st ans 2nd to join the 3rd.

There’s a moment — you may have felt it — when your hand finds the right place… and the student shifts before they even realize why.
It’s not about technique alone.
It’s what happens when confidence, clarity, and presence meet the body.

This workshop is where that kind of teaching begins to emerge.

What You’ll Learn

This is a hands-on, skill-focused training — designed to give you clarity in your adjustments, and the confidence to use them with presence.

You’ll explore:

  • How to offer clear, supportive adjustments across the Ashtanga Primary Series
  • Alignment principles that are adaptable to all bodies
  • The difference between fixing and supporting
  • When to adjust — and when holding space is the most powerful choice
  • How to refine your touch so it becomes communicative, intuitive, and safe

Everything is taught through guided repetition, real-time feedback, and embodied exploration — so the learning settles into your hands, not just your head

You’ll Leave With

  • A solid foundation in technical hands-on skills
  • Confidence in knowing what to do, and why
  • More clarity in your body — and how you connect to others through it
  • A sense of rhythm between observing, adjusting, and simply holding space
  • Tools that grow with you — no matter what style you teach

This is the kind of training that stays in your hands long after the weekend ends.

Part of a Journey

This is the first in a 3-part Art of the Adjustment series — and it’s designed as a core component of our RYT200 and RYT300 teacher training pathways.

It’s also open to:

  • Current yoga teachers seeking more confidence in adjustments
  • Dedicated practitioners and trainees preparing to step into teaching
  • Anyone who knows that learning how to touch — and when not to — is a vital part of transformational teaching

We use the Ashtanga Primary Series as our shared framework for observation and application, but the insights apply across all yoga styles.
